Why do people complain about having to remove Laptops (and water, food, etc.) at American airports and complain about it? Its the same procedure every where in the world.

I ask every time I read about how terribly the TSA treated them or how this person was rude or that person didn’t help them or how super strict TSA is. <br><br>Why? You don’t get to just walk through. Every airport I’ve been to in Europe, Japan, and the Middle East has the same security procedures as the US. We do also. <br><br>Why do Americans act like this is singular to America? Everyone one has to do it. Yes it can be annoying but I’d rather be safe than sorry. I had to have a pat down once because one of my knee replacements set off the alarm until they brought out the wand. <br><br>Its not that big of a deal. You do it, you go on your way. If you don’t like it, you don’t have to fly.
