I (32F) really hate that with no children I am expected to be available to help my siblings (30s-40sF) with their kids at the drop of a hat.

My family does not understand that just because I don’t have kids, I still have a life. I work a very demanding job and have a busy schedule doing things I love on weekends. My siblings think that because I don’t have kids I have nothing but free time and can babysit for them. I am not complaining about helping them out. I love my nieces and nephews and want to spend time with them. I don’t want to be the sibling they can call at the last minute with no notice and I’m expected to be available to babysit. I think I should be treated like the rest of the family and be given some notice or at least they should have the courtesy to accept if I say no. I’ve been taken advantage of for too long.
