App to rate/follow university professors

There already exist apps like this, but I think they could be improved by less janky mobile apps. Most of them just seem like web apps that are browser links bookmarked onto your homepage. An app that shows user reviews is basically the way to go, but I think it would be really useful if you could have "following" so you could get notifications (IF user chooses to allow) if a professor starts teaching a new class.
