The difference between a website blocking Tor users and a website blocking AI users is that no field of work is impossible to function in for someone who uses Tor. Tor users can use other browsers like Brave, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. It is not their job to use Tor.

On the other hand, so many people working in the tech industry and other industries for that matter will be forced by their employer to install ChatGPT or something similar to do their field of work properly and quickly. Yet when using those products they are asked for the same level of cognitive functions from them as users who don't use ChatGPT. People using ChatGPT are not allowed to use anything else at work such as Grammarly.
