Is this a good cover letter for a job application?

Ok, not creative writing, but here is a cover letter I recently wrote for a job application:

Dear Hiring Manager for the [Job Title],

In order for any group of people to function as a cohesive unit, they must have a common understanding of what they believe in and value. In a business, that typically has to do with your product and customer service. I believe that those things are very important. But, at the end of the day, a company is only a collection of people. The way you treat each other is arguably the most important thing a company can do in order to thrive. I value respect and empathy above all else, and it seems as though you do too.

I am a single mother who graduated college and earned a bachelors degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics. I have been a programmer for years. I am a quick learner and, as we know, computer programming is constantly evolving. I am also a very kind and caring manager; I believe in putting people first, and value and respect my co-workers. I am a team player and I am a hard worker; I believe in doing what needs to be done, but I also believe in taking care of yourself and seeing that your needs are met. You cannot do your best work if you are not feeling good. I am also a natural leader and a group motivator. I love to analyze a situation and find out where the problems are and brainstorm solutions.

I am excited to possibly join your team. I have gotten wonderful vibes from everyone I have met at [Company Name]. I love the benefits and the culture, and I think I would be a great fit. I would be honored to have the opportunity to talk with you, and I have applied to several positions within the company. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
[My Name]

I have been sending this letter out along with my resume, as well as my LinkedIn profile. I am having trouble getting interviews, so I was thinking my cover letter was probably too cheesy. Am I right? Can anyone give me feedback?
