Don't give money to homeless people.

This was a big shocker for me when I first found out, but the majority of homeless people have a history of drug or alcoholic addiction.<br><br>Most homeless people have been to rehab centers multiple times.<br><br>Giving them money will just give them money to buy more booze or drugs.<br><br>It's not that I don't feel bad for them, I do. But it makes no sense to give money to them because they have consistently shown the inability to manage the money they have been given. <br><br>I don't carry change on me so I don't give pocket change, but if a homeless person is asking I give them a piece of food.<br><br>Usually the long homeless people who have been asking for money have been searching for money for long enough to carry enough money to purchase a meal somewhere.
