I am not taking my back to school plan seriously anymore

I am a high school history teacher. I teach in a Florida county that is in a covid-19 hotspot. My school never really cleaned the classrooms or cafeteria which has been an issue before and after covid. Did a 2 hour zoom video call with a principal telling us our back to school plan, and I am not buying it. It is near impossible to circumvent the fact that students will be shoulder to shoulder while moving through the hallway, or sitting in our cramped classrooms. We have no officially directive for whether we can force students to wear masks, or if we can get rid of some desks to create more space (which we need anyway because of overcrowding). The principal did not mention anything about the cafeteria, but I remember reading it was gonna be like 50% capacity, I have about 80-100 students in a normal 5th period class... So I guess they are just gonna let kids sit in the hallway for lunch... Again, this is what we did for any class size.

I seriously cannot see this working. It is so obvious how everything is going to go wrong. I am still plenty nervous, but I don't believe this is going to work, so I am feeling a level of comfort knowing the district is probably either gonna shut down on day 1, or we are gonna move to virtual school after the first week. I am not trying to be a debbie downer, but it is just obvious they don't have a plan.

What are yall's thoughts or experiences?
