Almost everyone around me has lost weight because of the lockdown. I started mine in the gym but it feels like I gained weight instead of losing it. I started my fitness journey in December and got a gym membership in January. The COVID quarantine started in March. I am currently 9 pounds away from my trigger weight, so I think I have no choice but to eat healthy. I gained a few pounds in the past few months. I know it’s not much, but I’ve been so happy with my weight and fitness for the past year.<br><br>I have been focusing on exercise all this time. I haven’t stopped going to the gym but I stopped tracking my macros and portion control altogether. I have occasional cravings for junk food and I seem to have forgotten what healthy eating is all about. I was also so busy with work and setting up my own blog. I started to forget to focus on my own health while I’m helping others with theirs.<br><br>I need to get back to my fitness journey. It’s time for me to focus on my health and fitness. I need to get back to meal planning and healthy cooking. It has been months since I prepared meals for myself. It’s not easy to go back to something that I haven’t done for months. However, I know that I need to get back to meal prep for my health. My fitness journey isn’t just about exercise. It’s also about what I eat.
