We've had this crappy moderator for awhile now, and it's just getting worse.

If you look at our sub, you will see that it is dead. We used to be a fun sub, with lots of art and interaction. There would be 5+ posts a day from talented OC artists, we even had some of the "big" artists posting their work there. It was amazing, and it was so fun.<br><br>Now, there's nothing. On average, there might be 2 posts a day, sometimes 1. Sometimes none.<br><br>This is because of one of our moderators, who is a major part of the problem, and a major reason why I'm making this post. Our sub has declined for many reasons, but this one mod does a lot of things that just make it worse.<br><br>First of all, they're incredibly strict and passive when it comes to "regulations". They often delete posts for the dumbest reasons, such as a slight spelling mistake, or not including "OC" in the title. "First" comments are sometimes taken as self promotion, and they will instantly delete it, even if the first comment is just a hello.<br><br>Speaking of self promotion, I don't know if they realize this, but **almost everyone** posts their own art on art subs. If you're going to delete art for potential self promotion, you might as well delete every single post. This moderator has even gone as far as to delete art on other sub's post just because the image was from the artist's own gallery.<br><br>The rules are also very strict, to the point where even mentioning your own work can be seen as "self promotion". There's even a rule against giving out some of your art if it's not the same piece posted, even if it's just to let someone have an extra piece of art from another post. It's very controlling and causes a lot of controversy.<br><br>They have also gotten really strict on comments, to the point where you can't even comment a positive thing about the art without them thinking you're "fishing for karma." "This is great!" is probably the comment they delete the most because they assume everyone who comments that is trying to get karma.<br><br>They also have a tendency to accuse people of stuff they don't do. They're very paranoid and have even accused me of using another account to upvote my own comments. I don't even care about karma that much, but they have this stupid idea that everyone is out to get karma. If you ever mention anything about karma, they will delete your comment. It's just ridiculous.<br><br>Secondly, they are very aggressive when talking to people. They are quick to "punish" people, and when you try to talk to them calmly, they will just call you names and accuse you of stuff you don't do. They are very defensive and take everything the wrong way.<br><br>They also have a tendency to call people liars, even when they aren't. This mod will sometimes call people liars when they aren't even doing anything wrong. They will sometimes delete comments just because they think you might be lying. For example, they will sometimes delete comments saying "This is great art" just because they think you're lying.<br><br>Thirdly, they are very biased. There have been many times where I have seen them give out unfair punishments. They have deleted comments from popular artists who have done nothing wrong, while allowing their friends to break rules without a punishment.<br><br>I have been a victim of this myself, they have deleted my comments and even banned me for a day for breaking a rule that my friend didn't get in trouble for. My friend didn't even get a warning, and I got banned for a whole day.<br><br>Also, every time you try to talk about any of this, they will just call you a troll and delete your post. The only way to be heard is to talk about it on other subs, like this one. I know this post will get downvoted by the moderator and their alt accounts/friends, but I'm just so fed up with it.<br><br>I've been in the sub for over a year, and I've seen how much it has just declined into nothing. All I want is for the sub to be fun again, and for our community to thrive.<br><br>But with this mod, it's impossible. I want this mod to either change their ways or leave the sub.<br><br>It's just getting worse, and I'm so sick of it.
