My BIL offered to "help me through these hard times" when my husband left for Afghanistan

He has made his feelings very clear about how he feels about my husband and our family. My husband is black and he is a racist. My BIL is the typical redneck white supremacist type.<br><br>He has been super nice to me lately and I know he is being manipulative and his motives are super gross. He knew my husband would be going away and he saw his chance and took it.<br><br>I just called my husband and asked if I could come home and he said no. I was sad but I knew I couldn't leave.<br><br>My BIL contacted me and asked me what my husband said and I told him I couldn't leave. I said don't bother coming over I'm going to pack up my apartment and I don't need any help.<br><br>He said are you sure and I said yes. I know he expected me to say yes so he could take advantage of me. I am sad that my husband is leaving but I'm so happy I held out and I don't have to be with my BIL.<br><br>Yeah I know why he offered to "help me" and he was playing off the fact that I miss my husband and he would fill the void.
