Why is being lonely so bad?

I'm lonely. But I get up, eat, work, sleep and repeat. I'm not in debt. I'm not depressed (although it has crossed my mind). I'm not suicidal. But most importantly, I'm not ungrateful. I have a good life. But I'm just so lonely. <br><br>Am I weird for accepting it?
