Ive been stealing books since 2001 and none of the consequences I feared came to pass

Ive been stealing books from bookstores, primarily Barnes and Noble, but frequently from second hand shops and big box stores, since 2001. Ive never been caught and Ive never been caught. Ive stolen hundreds of books in that time, and read most of them. I dont steal much anymore, but I still do it from time to time, and I didnt want to come away from this without acknowledging it. <br><br>It hasnt ruined my life, and no one knows, other than a few friends, and now, u/goldenbungholes, because I dont see the point in mentioning it. <br><br>So if you want to borrow this as a justification for your own behavior, go ahead, but I dont advocate for what Ive done.
