My son (16) just told me he's LGBT

My son (16) just came to me and my wife. He told us, that he is LGBT, he's bisexual.<br><br>My wife just told him, that this is a sin and he needs to go to church and pray for forgiveness. He cried and left the room. I said nothing, because I wasn't sure what to say.<br><br>I never hated LGBT people. I never really cared about it. But I'm not sure how to react to my own son like this.<br><br>My wife is going to warpath on this situation and ruin our son. And I won't survive it, if we will lose him, because of this.<br><br>How to talk to him? Do I support him? Do I tell him to hide it from his mother?<br><br>Please help me. I can't let my son down and lose him.
