Massive gun control win in Oregon

The Oregon Supreme Court struck down Ballot Measure 114, the gun control ballot initiative that was passed back in 2022, due to judicial overreach. (The state Supreme Court ruled the case should have gone to the Oregon Circuit Court).<br><br>Given that we have a Republican majority in the Oregon State Senate, I am extremely confident that this ruling will allow us to completely kill this bill. <br><br>Now if we can just get a Republican majority in the state House, we may be able to undo some of the damage that the judicial and executive branches have done to us Oregonians.<br><br>Edit: It was struck down specifically because of the magazine capacity ban. The rest of the bill can be reinstated.
