AITA for forbidding my son from bringing his boyfriend to my house?

My son is 20 years old, and I found out he is gay almost a year ago. I forbade him from bringing his boyfriend to my house, which caused a huge fight between us. <br><br>He thinks I’m a bigot and that’s why I don’t want his boyfriend to visit. But that’s not the reason. <br><br>The reason is my husband, his stepdad. He is from a middle eastern country and he is Muslim. He is very religious, head of a local mosque and an Arabic language teacher at an Islamic school. He is very much against the idea of same sex relationships/marriage. <br><br>Even though he doesn’t mind my son being gay, he doesn’t want him to act on it, especially in our house. And I kind of agree with him. <br><br>When my son found out I agreed with his stepfather, he said we are bigoted, homophobic, ignorant, hateful and that if I really loved him, I would let him bring his boyfriend to our house. <br><br>Now he is barely answering my calls or my husband’s. He said we are the intolerant kind, not accepting kind of people and many other hurtful stuff. Am I really the AH?
