The main issue with AI

AI is not necessarily bad, it's a thing like any other thing. The main issue is the people publishing and profiting from it. They are not good people. Not just the ones that are making money from it but the ones that are using it for personal gain.<br><br>The CEOs of Microsoft, Google, FB, and NVIDIA are not good people. They are not thinking about the future of the world or the well-being of humanity. They are thinking about market shares and quarterly profits. They are working for big investors, whoever they are, and depending on who those investors are, it could be even worse. <br><br>OpenAI kicked out Sam Altman because he was not evil enough for the evil investors behind the company. Meanwhile the CEOs of Microsoft are threatening their employees with losing their jobs because of "AI". Employees that are publishing AI will have better job opportunities elsewhere because of AI. Employees that are not publishing AI are publishing junk science because AI is the new science. <br><br>The science and tech field are polluted by big money and corporations. It's all about the money, it's all about the marketing. "AI" is the main marketing word for the past 5 years. Everyone talks about it. It's like the trendy new restaurant where everyone is waiting two months in line for a table. It's a bubble.<br><br>The real problem is the money and the corporations behind the AI bubble.
