My son told me something that I’ve never heard before

My 12 year old son was born in Ohio. We moved to Kentucky when he was 11.<br><br>He told me something that I’ve never heard before. I’m not sure if it’s a universal thing or a midwest USA thing but these are the words my son said:<br><br>“I’m Kentucky till I die but I’m Ohio made.”<br><br>Have you heard of this catch phrase?
