How Should I Convince Daddy to Let Me Go to College?

I've been accepted into a college out of state and I really want to go. However, I think that daddy will be sad to see me go because I'm his favorite model and he takes pride in my self-sufficiency at home. I know he's very attached to me and it's hard for him to let go. How should I approach this situation in a way that makes him feel less sad and more confident in my independence?
