So apparently Yorkshire men are fat shaming people now.

An obviously distressed audience member, named only as Satty, phoned in to BBC Radio Sheffield to berate breakfast host Kat Cowan about the recent "refugee crisis" in the UK.

Fat-shaming and personal attacks aside, this is the section where Satty makes his political points:

Kat: Now, I just wanna ask you, what makes you think you have the right to come on my show and speak to me like this Satty?

Satty: I have the right because you wouldn't listen to me until I cursed at you, you're an arrogant fat bitch.

Kat: No, that's not true, I would listen to you. What are your opinions on the migrants? What do you think is gonna happen to them?

Satty: Well, the migrants that are in the camps - I believe that there should be another camp similar to the one they have in Rwanda where they process the migrants, figure out whether they're genuine or whether they're not, if they're genuine they should be housed in a separate place away from the other migrants, if they're not they should be sent back to their country.

Kat: I see. So you want them to be housed in the same way that we house British people that are homeless?

Satty: No, I don't believe they should be housed in the same way that we house the British people. I believe that every town and every city should have a place like that and the migrants that have been housed in each town, each city, should be housed in there until they've been processed.

Kat: Right, I see. Well, Satty, you know, people have to live somewhere, right? We can't just magic some houses out of thin air. I mean, you're a homeowner, how would you feel if you're told you have to house a migrant in one of your spare rooms?

Satty: If I was forced to house a migrant or I'd be kicked out of my house, I would house a migrant. I would have no problem with it, but I do have a problem with this. The migrants, according to the government, each migrant, they're in receipt of £45 per week, plus they get a hotel room and 3 meals a day, I know many British families that are struggling and they don't get anywhere near that. Plus the migrants get £800 every 2 months, I believe it is, to buy clothing and toiletries. I know British people that cannot afford that and they get nothing. So, yes, I would have no problem housing a migrant if that was the case, but I didn't sign up for that, I signed up for the migrants to be housed in a camp and fed and watered, I didn't sign up to feed and water them in my own home and pay their bills.

Kat: I see, I see. Satty, I want to explain something to you, I want to explain why some migrants are placed in hotels.

Satty: You're not gonna explain anything to me, you fat bitch. I'm gonna tell you something and you're gonna listen.

Kat: No, I'm gonna tell you something and you're gonna listen.

Satty: You're not gonna tell me anything, you're gonna listen to what I have got to say.

Kat: Right. Satty, we are housing some migrants in hotels because... some of them are survivors of torture. Do you know that?

Satty: Well, I don't care if they're survivors of torture, I care about the British people that are in receipt of council tax benefits and income-based job seekers, that cannot afford to feed their families. Why should they have to suffer just to house the migrants in hotels, feed them, give them clothing, give them toiletries? I am British, I should come first in my own country.

Kat: I see. Satty, I want to tell you something you might not be aware of. Some migrants are survivors of torture. They can't stay with ordinary families because they need medical help in order to recover from their trauma. You can't give someone that's experienced that level of trauma just £45 a week and expect them to feed themselves. Do you understand?

Satty: No, I don't understand. I don't care. I don't care about the migrants. I care about the British people and I care about the people in my town. I care about my country. I am British. I was born here, I will die here, my family have always lived here. You are not British, you are Scottish, get out of our country you fat bitch.

[Audio cuts off as Kat ends the call]

Every day now you hear a story in the British press about the "migration crisis" and how the country is struggling to cope with the influx.

Yorkshire is a county in northern England that has been hit particularly hard by austerity cuts in recent years.

Yorkshire is also the county that voted out of the EU in the 2016 Brexit referendum.

The migrants being housed in Yorkshire, Satty's county, are survivors of torture. They have survived unimaginable horrors and have risked their lives to escape to our country in search of safety.

And yet, when Satty sees migrants being housed in hotels, he thinks to himself, "Immigrants bad. They come into my country, they take all our money, our jobs, our houses, they commit crimes and they rape our women."

The migrants are being housed in hotels because they are survivors of torture. They need medical help to recover from their trauma. you can't give someone that level of trauma just £45 a week and expect them to feed themselves.

But Satty doesn't understand any of that. All he knows is that migrants are housed in hotels and are given money and food by the government, and that makes him angry.

He believes that the government should be prioritizing the British people over the migrants. He believes that the migrants are taking advantage of the government's kindness and are abusing the system. He believes that the migrants are lazy and don't want to work, and that they are committing crimes and terrorizing the local communities.

But the truth is, the migrants being housed in Yorkshire are not lazy, they are not committing crimes, and they are not terrorizing the local communities. They are survivors of torture, and they need our help.

They need our kindness, our compassion, and our understanding. They need us to recognize that they are human beings, just like us, and that they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

But Satty doesn't see it that way. He sees the migrants as a threat, as a burden, as a drain on our resources. He believes that they are taking advantage of our kindness and abusing our system.

He doesn't understand that the migrants are not a threat, they are not a burden, and they are not abusing our system.
