Everyone says women can't say no to Alpha males. How come my ex who I know for a fact is an alpha is so lonely?

I saw comments all the time like "I don't get that, an alpha would never even get to that point, and if they did, the woman would never say no. They could never walk away from an alpha, they love being around them."<br><br>My ex was definitely an alpha, he was in great shape, 6ft 3, had a beard, and he was really intelligent. He was very confident and had a personality and everything. He was very outgoing. He was a very caring guy, and he always thought about others before himself, and he always put me first even when he had bigger things to worry about. He was a great boyfriend. He was just overall a great guy. <br><br>So after he broke up with me (he said he was scared of commitment) he just kind of became lonely. He tried to date a few girls, but none of them worked out. He even got mad at me the other day for dating a guy, saying how lucky he is, which is obviously not true. I'm happy for him even if he is being a jerk. It's not like I hurt him on purpose. He's been really rude to me, and I'm kind of confused. He's an alpha, he should be able to get any woman he wants, and he's just as lonely as I am. I know I'm biased, but he's a great guy. I know I'll never get him back, but it's possible, right?
