I’m so sick of this misogyny

I’m sick of this misogyny, it’s everywhere. It’s in the news, it’s in a lot of people’s mouths, it’s in the mouths of women. Men think they can police our bodies, because of their religious beliefs, because of a “right to life,” because women are objects and not people. It’s constant. It’s exhausting. I’m tired of defending my right to be a person. I’m tired of it. Do something about it. Talk about it. Spread awareness, spread those Texas abortion hotlines because they’re still useful. Do something. If it’s wrong to be upset that there are more abortion clinics than there are pregnancy help centers, then I’m upset. If it’s wrong to be upset that women have to work 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, just to have a shred of financial freedom, then I’m upset. Men can do whatever the fuck they want and they face no consequences. Women are held to such a higher standard that the standard is unattainable and that standard is so deeply ingrained into the minds of people that it’s exhausting. It makes me want to scream. I want to scream so bad. But no one will listen to a screaming woman. <br><br>So. Do something. <br><br>Fight for your rights. Fight for my rights.
