I am 23 years old, have a degree in computer science, and am currently working in a non-CS-related job. I used to be a software engineer. I am here seeking advice on how to return to a career as a software engineer.

I earned my bachelor's degree in 2019 and immediately began working as an associate software developer. I worked in the field of software development for two years, but due to health concerns, I decided to leave my job. I took a year off from work and spent it traveling and exploring my artistic side.

However, as I approached the age of 24, I began to reflect on my life and realized that the pride I had in being a software engineer was harder to maintain when I wasn't actively working in the field. I feel that I'm now at a crossroads where I'm considering returning to my previous career as a software engineer. I've given this a lot of thought, and I've decided to return to this career path. I've created a personal project based on my experience as an associate software developer and am currently working on it.

I'm looking for advice on whether I should stick with the same language and tech stack that I used in the past or explore new options. I'm also seeking advice on how to make this transition while balancing my health issues.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate any advice or guidance you can offer.

TL;DR: I’m 23, graduated in computer science and worked as software developer for 2 years, left for health reasons and spent a year traveling and exploring, now i’m back and i want to go back to software development ( i’m thinking of doing a personal project), how to join again and should I stick with the same tech stack and language
