The world became a video game about two years ago. My old life was obliterated when the Earth was invaded and I was the only survivor of my family. <br><br>The world became a strange and twisted place, with magical powers for some and technological advancements for others. <br><br>I got the magic powers.<br><br>I was on a mission to complete in a small town when I was approached by a man in a white shirt. <br><br>He told me he was an admiral and that the world needed me.<br><br>My first thought was that he was like Starfleet and that the answer could only be "Make it so."<br><br>I wanted to check his chest to see if he had four pips. But I didn't.<br><br>Instead, I took his mission. <br><br>Am I Kirk or Picard?
