Why would I want to be my "husband's best friend"?

Why do so many women want to be their "husband's best friend"? It just confuses me. My husband is my husband. He's the man I want to marry. He's supposed to be the love of my life, someone whose company I'm deeply comfortable in, but I don't want to be besties with him. I don't want him to know everything about me, and vice versa.<br><br>I don't want to get the same food he likes when we go out to eat. I don't want to go on the same vacations. I don't want to have to listen to him talk about the same thing he talked about at work. I don't want to know everything about his day. <br><br>To me, a spouse is fine, a best friend is a different role.
