I think I have more than 10,000 bugs in my home. I'm in the process of trying another exterminator.

Somebody asked a few days ago about how bad my infestation was, and I feel like I owe it to the community to follow up (also I'm sick to my stomach and need something to do). I think I have more than 10,000 bugs in my home, and I'm trying to get a second exterminator to tackle it.<br><br>I am currently using diatomeaceous earth, but I'm not winning. The exterminator that came by last week said he couldn't do anything, and that he would call his boss to see what their policy was about how many bugs they would treat. I haven't heard back from them, and at this point I assume that's a lost cause.<br><br>I put caulk in all the gaps I can find, and I have 3 large fans and 5 small fans pointing at my front door. I still catch a few dozen a day on the sticky traps, and I'm vacuuming up multiple inches of dead, and I'm losing my mind.<br><br>The new exterminator is supposed to call me back today about an appointment, and I will likely be calling 2 more tomorrow. I'm at a loss for what else to do at this point.<br><br>I feel like I'm drowning in these disgusting creatures.<br><br>I feel like the whole world is falling apart around me, and there's nothing that I can do to change it.<br><br>I'm so sorry if this is the most whiny that I've been on this subreddit. I'm just having one of those days.
