Why I think I will live forever (or at least thousands of years)

Well, we still have a long way to go, but my faith is growing.<br><br>I've been following tech trends for the last 5 years, and I have to say that I'm impressed by the speed at which things are moving.<br><br>I'm 35 years old and I have already seen in my lifetime the rise of the internet, fiber optic internet, smartphones, social networks, streaming, electric cars and all the various AI models.<br><br>I'm not going to say that I never thought I'd see the day, because the concept of AI models is quite old, but I didn't expect them to be so... mainstream so fast.<br><br>I don't have a lot of faith in human medicine. The pace of progress is so slow that I worry about not living long enough to see the results. But I have faith in technology and I'm sure that we'll have AGI before disease will be cured by conventional medicine.<br><br>It's not crazy to expect that when AGI is developed, humans will be able to live forever, even without curing disease or aging. We already see that people with severe disabilities are able to live normally with the help of technology.<br><br>And now with the emergence of AGI, we're seeing a superelligence that will be able to help us in ways we can't even imagine.<br><br>A few years ago, I would have said it's crazy, utopian, and delusional to think that I would live forever. But I think that even if we don't see the AGI as a human superintelligence, it will always be there, and it will always be helping us.**
