Am i just stupid about anime

I don't get why anime is so popular. I have seen few anime shows and movies and i didn't find them that great all of them were either boring or just stupid to watch and the only thing that i enjoyed in them were the good animation and the soundtracks.<br><br>So am i just stupid about anime or am i normal and you guys are all stupid about anime and just want to watch moe cat girl instead of watching good quality movies and show that have real good story and acting and they are fun to watch.
