How would you feel if your bf had a lump on his breast?

I (19F) have a lump in my breast that I just got/had it checked. I told my bf (19M) and he started crying and said “I would kill myself if you left me.” I don’t know how to feel about this. He says I’m his everything and he can’t live without me.
