Hello everyone, I am a researcher at the university and I have studied AI for about 5 years and I have to say, I was not impressed with ChatGPT until a month ago when I started using GPT4. I've never seen anything like it.

For me, GPT4 is a new paradigm. I can't imagine my work without it anymore. I have an average salary for a researcher and I can only get better paid if I move to a big company or move to the US.

I don't feel like leaving academia, I enjoy it a lot and I don't even care if I don't have a high paying job. I enjoy what I do and I can pay my bills with it.

If I were to have a job in industry I would get a higher salary, but I would also lose my freedom. In academia those who are furthest from the top of the hierarchy have the freedom to study what they want.

This freedom to study what I want is priceless, but the downside of this is that I will never be a millionaire and I have to be very careful with my money.

Having said that I can say that GPT4 changed my life because it saved me money. I had to translate a 10 page text into English and I outsourced it to an agency, they charged me $250. I outsourced a text of the same size to an agency again and it came out much cheaper, $40.

I was surprised by the price, which I then used as a comparison to see what GPT4 would cost. It cost me $20 to translate it. That was when I realized that labor can be free.

The text is not perfect, but the price is so ridiculously low and I have to pay for it only if it is a success. I don't have to pay for training, I don't have to pay for equipment and I don't have to pay for overheads.

I have to pay for a text, translated or rewritten, and that's it. If I don't like it I can try again. I don't have to pay a person, I don't have to train a person and I don't have to pay for a person.

This is a new paradigm, it is a new way of working. I am also starting to consider the cost of those who help me and for this reason I am starting to use AI more and more. My work is much faster, of better quality and much cheaper.

I have never seen anything like it. I think that soon there will be no more jobs that can be automated and perhaps I will not have to pay for them. Maybe one day I will have an income that is not linked to my work, that would be a dream.

In conclusion, I can say that labor can be free and that we may not have to pay for it in the future. I live in a country with a high cost of living, but labor can be cheap. This is a new way of working and I am very excited about it.
