Has being a software engineer gotten too popular? How concerned should I be for my career?

So I’ve been a software engineer for 10 years and our company is letting people go left and right. How concerned should I be about my career prospects? I’m a USA citizen so I wasn’t worried about H1B visa competition but now I’m being told “your job can be done by an AI.” I’ve spent years cultivating knowledge of the proprietary stack we use but it seems like no one cares that I’m good at this specific stack. I’m lazy and it takes a while for me to get stuff done. Looking to improve my job prospects and increase my laziness.
