Hey guys. I wanted to ask you, if there is any documentation of what hastened the execution of King Charles I of England? I found his reign very interesting, the fact that he wanted to centralize power (the reason that the English Civil War started), and that at the end of the war he was the one that wanted to negotiate, hasten the end of the war, but for the Scottish Presbyterians he had to be tried and executed because otherwise of the fact that he was going to start another war in England and that there is no other way to end the war but kill the King.
