Older women are straight up lying about their age... What age do you think is too old to be lying about?

I've been on dating apps for a while now and I've been annoyed that older women are lying about their age. Now, I'm not some kid straight out of high school (I'm 24) but I've noticed older women consistently lying about how old they are. I've had women that are 30+ years old claiming that they are in their 20's. I get the occasional 20 something lying about their age too, but it's nothing compared to how many older women lie about their age. I don't really care that much, but I feel like I would be angry if I were in my 40's and women were claiming to be my age when they were actually 20 years younger. <br><br>Now, obviously you shouldn't care that much about someone's age, there are plenty of reasons why people would lie about their age online. I can only think of a few reasons why they do it. <br><br>The first reason I thought of was that they want to feel younger and more attractive, lying about their age would make them feel better and more confident in their appearance. It would also be a good way to convince others that they look way younger than they are (I've had plenty of women my age claim that they look like they're in their 20's only for me to find out they're 40) <br><br>The second reason I thought of (and the one that pisses me off the most) would be that they want to use their age as a manipulative tool. Imagine this scenario: They claim to be younger, you get close to them, then BAM, they drop the bomb on you. You're obviously pissed, but they guilt trip you, saying "I know I lied, but I really like you. Don't you like how I look and act? I'm basically the same age as you, let's forget what I did and move on." You're too infatuated with them to move on, and before you know it, they're using you to get whatever they want. <br><br>While I know this is a stretch and probably doesn't happen that often, it's still enough to piss me off. I mean, I only want to date women my age (for a lot of reasons) and the fact that they consistently lie about their age is enough for me to be angry. I've blocked more women in their 40's claiming to be in their 20's than I can count and it pisses me off every time. <br><br>So, if you've made it this far, you get the point. At what age do you think it's too old to be lying about?
