Why does the right want to deport conservative Trump supporting latinos?

It seems like the hate against latinos has gone up a notch today. I've seen 3 different people say "round them up and deport them". Like wtf is going on? Do these people not understand that many of our latino population were born and live in this country? Do they not understand that a significant percentage of our latino population are conservative republican and very religious?
