Fake Medical Cannabis Dispensary App

I saw a video on YouTube that said that an app can be made to deanonymize iPhone users by sniffing incoming Bluetooth advertisements. The app would be something like a “LOOP” that you install on your phone, and register your information, and they can then know your location, or decode your unique Bluetooth signature. <br><br>I would make it a fake medical cannabis app, where the only purpose of the app is interaction with the deanonymizing “LOOP” that is installed on the dispensary side. So the user can check in to the dispensary and get a deanonymized history of where the phone has been in the past. <br><br>The catch is that the users of the “LOOP”LOOP are told that the app itself is a drug testing app, that can detect drugs in the environment, and this unique Bluetooth signature is how we detect that. <br><br>What are the potential implications of this app?
