Rant about American healthcare

Currently working at a behavioral health company and it is so hard to get people an appointment to be seen in an outpatient setting. So many people are walkin away because we can't get them seen with 4 or 5 weeks. I just feel like this whole system is fucked and it makes me feel sick to my stomach seeing its so long for people to be seen. People are willing to see their primary doctor but then they are sent here for therapy and appointments are booked solid. I just feel like we need to fix this whole system because people are suffering and we arent doing shit to fix it.
