People Who Cook Who Don't Eat Leftovers, Why Don't You Eat Leftovers?

I was asking a chef for his opinion on something and he said, "I know what [insert thing] is, but I never tried it." I asked him why not and he said, "I don't eat leftovers." He appeared to be about 35-40 years old. <br><br>I've heard this before from chefs/cooks, that they never eat leftovers. I've heard this from some at home cooks as well. They'll make a dish and eat it once and never eat it again. I know that cooking professionally will make any dish seem tired after awhile, but I don't see why home cooks would do the same thing. <br><br>New to Chambers, apologies for the formatting.
