Chambers

Something I noticed when looking at past chambers posts, before the ban.

Before the chambers ban, I remember that this sub was still on the front page. I only came to this sub after the ban to see what all the fuss was about.

The top post on this sub was "Men don’t like it when you go out in public without makeup." *Timestamp: 10 hours ago. *Comments: 1.6k

I then looked at some of the other posts including a thread old post about how a man got mad at a woman when she said she didn’t like his beard. The top comment in that thread, with 2.4k upvotes, was "I like beards, as long as they are on men."

Before the ban, many chambers users genuinely thought we hated all men, simply because chambers puts the comments with the most upvotes at the top. Of course, as any redditor in KAM knows, **any post that says "all men" will be removed.** So any post that was deleted would obviously not show up, and many people thought we were a sub that hated all men just because of the top comments on a given thread. The top comment does not always reflect the opinion of the chamber as a whole, but many people don’t seem to understand that.

I found this to be a kind of interesting observation, and thought I would share.
