I never want to be a mother. I resent how I’m portrayed in the media

I’m a grown woman, not childfree by circumstance, just by choice. I don’t love or hate children, they’re fine, I don’t want one. It’s not a big deal. I shouldn’t have to give reasons or justify why I don’t want kids. <br><br>I’m fed up with the media and the way women who choose not to have kids are portrayed. We’re all either the promiscuous career woman or the psychopathic loner. <br><br>I’m currently long distance with my bf but planning on moving in with him soon and we’ll be having pets. I have a good job, nice house, close friends and supportive family. I do volunteer work for abused children. I like to think of myself as a relatively normal, pleasant person. But I don’t want to be a mother. <br><br>Wtf is wrong with that?
