What Do You Think The Next Fight About Guns Will Be?

What I mean is, it seems like they're not going after our carry rights right now. They're not really going after our magazine capacity right now. They're not going after our pistol length laws right now. They're not going after our types of ammunition right now or our capacity to buy it. But they are still going after our guns. What do you think the next fight over guns is going to be? About what? I'm guessing they'll try to set up a national registry and then they'll try to use it to ban guns based on their opinion of how scary they look (no pun intended).

What do you think, do you think the next fight will be about something I mentioned, or something totally different?

I think they'll try to make the national registry and tell us that it's "for the children." They'll also pull a stunt where they'll pretend that the ATF is going to work with exporters to track down American guns that are selling in Mexico because of "crime," but they'll also pretend that they're just not going to do that. After that, they'll have all of the information about our guns as they're coming out of the factory and if you haven't purchased the gun, well, you never will. They'll just lie and say that they're going to "rely on" the exporters to notify them if your gun has been sold through a third party, and then they'll lie and say that they're not going to use the national registry, and then they'll just lie and use it anyway and you'll never be able to purchase a gun again.

Edit to add: I'm not saying they're not going to do other things like go after carry, capacity, length, etc. but I think they're going to keep going after the cosmetic features of guns that make them look "assaulty." I don't see the ban on "assault weapons" ending any time soon.
