What makes anime fans the most intolerable people to talk to?

I’ve noticed that people who are exclusive anime fans will stubbornly argue how anime is superior while gauging your taste in trole-like fashion. <br><br>They will literally look down on you for not watching anime, call you normalfag, and say you should be watching anime instead of “cartoons for kids.” <br><br>Are they this embarrassing irl or is it an internet phenomenon?
