The last time we spoke I came out to you. It's been a long road. I will probably never be my true self in your eyes, so years ago I made the difficult decision to distance myself from you. I didn't want to hurt you. I wanted to give you enough time to wrap your head around even the idea of my gender. I didn't think it was fair of me to just spring the news of my transition on you.
