Chaos theory- if a small change in learning a language is changed then it will result in drastically different outcomes?

This is a thought I had yesterday and I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
I was thinking what if one day I decided to go for a run instead of doing language practice for the day. Would that change everything in the future in terms of the goals I achieve with it, for example maybe I would have a chance at getting a job in Finland which I wouldn’t have otherwise, or maybe my conversation skills would be different, or my vocab or my grammar skills, because that singular day changed somehow.
What if I had decided to spend that day doing language practice instead of going for that run, would it result in a completely different outcome on the end?
Not sure if anyone has heard of this “Chaos theory” before, but to me it would make a lot of sense, and maybe the best outcomes are because of those small changes, or maybe because of lack of practice in other days.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
