The supreme court is planning on ending the 48 hour, 5 day, 30 day waiting periods to purchase firearms. It is also going to throw out the 10 day waiting period.

I don't know if this is true, but it is definitely not announced yet. I don't have any sources or links to share on this subject because the announcement hasn't happened. I also can't say who told me this, but someone with access to the supreme courts browser history told me about this.<br><br>It is going to be announced on June 29, 2023. There is 3 different cases that they will be ruling on. 3 different waiting periods will be struck down, which is the 48 hour, 5 day, and 30 day waiting period. Also the 10 day waiting period will also be struck down. Keep in mind this is just a rumor for now and may not be true. <br><br>I am not sure why the supreme court has a 10 day waiting period to purchase firearms, but it makes no sense for the supreme court to have the strictest waiting period to purchase firearms. My guess is that they themselves don't even follow this rule as their own security guards are armed.
