Found out about this chamber the other week and thought it was another useless "scary story" one, but the second I started reading, I got the creeps. My story takes place from 2nd-5th grade

This was a very strange occurrence that happened in my hometown. I grew up in Huntington Beach, California and had a middle class family. My first experience with this "strange man" was at one of the many parks in the middle of our suburban neighborhood. I was about 7 and had no siblings, but most of our neighbors had kids about my age and most of us were all friends. We would all hang out together, ride bikes and skate, and go to the park to play. We never really had to deal with any one ruining the fun, maybe because nearly everyone was an old school family. It's a very sunny place, so it's a great area for kids to run around. On this particular day, I had just rode my bike to the park and met up with my friends. We played for a while, and then my friends and I were sitting down on a bench eating our snacks. It was an entirely normal day, aside from the fact that the park was empty aside from us kids. I just chalked it up as everyone was at work, and school hadn't let out yet.

As I said, the park was empty, but the only other people we saw, were a lady and her little dog, playing fetch, and an older man with a blue collar job shirt on, sitting on a bench on the other side of the park. We were on the asphalt part, and the park had fields too. He was sitting on a bench, but not the one the lady and dog were playing on, he was on the one in the middle. We noticed that the lady and dog were the only ones there, aside from the older guy, and figured he was probably the lady's husband, and the dog was their child. We were just kids, so we didn't care much, aside from making sure he wasn't a pedophile. Anyways, we kept playing, and then as we weren't paying attention, the man zooms by us on his bike. We didn't even see him move or get on the bike. We were startled, and didn't even see the lady and dog anymore either. We figured he did it out of boredom, but we just said maybe we should leave. I rode my bike home, and forgot about it. It was about 2 months later, when the same thing happened at a different park. I was with my cousin, who is one year older, and we were hanging out at the park. We were shooting hoops and just chillin. It was a different park, but it was the same thing, aside from us, it was empty, aside from the lady and dog, and man in the blue collar job shirt. Again, didn't think too much of it, but I did tell my cousin about the first time. We thought it was crazy that it was happening again, so we just decided to pack it up and go home. We didn't even stay for 2 hours, before we got spooked out by the man.

Aside from those two times, I didn't ever see the man again. I didn't think about it much, because aside from the first two times I saw him, I never encountered him again. I didn't even think of him until I found this sub. But the more I thought about it, I remembered something that happened the summer after 5th grade. I was at the skate park, with my 2 best friends, and we were all about 11. We hung out a lot, and had no siblings, so we were pretty close. It was a hot day, so we were just hanging out at the ledge, and I had just jumped up onto the ledge, and my friend tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, and he just looked scared, he pointed to my left, and that's when I saw him, the man. He was standing right next to me, and he didn't even say anything, just walked passed us, whistling. I don't even know how he got that close, we didn't even notice him walking up. We all just looked at each other, and said lets go. We got up and skated away at full speed. As we were skating away, I turned back to see him, and he was walking in the opposite direction. Nothing ever came of any of these events. I haven't seen him since, and it's been 7 years, but thinking about it has brought back very weird memories. It just seemed like something out of a scary movie, and I thought it would be good to tell it.
