For Israelis who are enjoying the situation in America: I beg of you for the love of God to stop

Everyone knows that Israelis generally love America, and this has nothing to do with that. <br><br>The reason I'm writing this post is that I've seen a lot of Israelis (mostly on /c/roilan) who are literally celebrating. And I beg of you, for the love of God, to stop. America is going up in flames for many reasons that are really fucked. It's fucking horrible. Thousands of people are going homeless, who will be left to die in the cold. Hundreds have been injured, and many are now dead, and many businesses have gone up in flames. And you're celebrating? You're disgusting. <br><br>You're making us look horrible. Young, fucked up nationalists who have no empathy. <br><br>I don't care if you hate Biden. I don't care if you're right or left or whatever the fuck is in between. I care that you stop celebrating, and pray for these people. The people in those riots, the people who own those businesses that were burned, the people who have to put their lives in danger to save them. I want you to pray for them. They need your help too. <br><br>More than anything, I beg of you to have empathy. Take yourself into the shoes of an American. Imagine watching a 300 year old legacy burn to nothing. Imagine having your business that was your pride and joy for years burned to nothing. Imagine being one of those poor souls who has to sleep on the streets tonight. Imagine watching your country burn.<br><br>I want you to imagine that, because you're not them. You sit in the comfort of your own home, behind your screen, and you *celebrate*. I beg of you to imagine how they feel, and then ask yourself, am I truly being a good person? Am I truly a good Israeli? <br><br>Stop celebrating, and have some fucking empathy.<br><br>Edit: For the people in the comments asking me why I care so much about riots in America when there have been riots in Jerusalem, I have one thing to say. Was I ever happy? No. I was sad watching Jerusalem burn, I was sad watching these riots, and that's why I made this post. If you think I'm happy about Israeli riots, or that I have never called out Israelis for doing the same thing, then you have not read a single word of this post.
