AITA for throwing away my girlfriend’s knockoff handbag?

I have been dating a girl for a few weeks. She is very nice, smart, funny, good hearted, etc. However, I found out she bought a fake Gucci handbag from a street vendor. She didn’t know I knew but I am not a fan of those fake knockoff products, since knockoff handbags are stealing intellectual property and are often linked to organized crime. <br><br>I threw her handbag away. And she called me an asshole for doing so. Aita?<br><br>Edited to add: she is an adult. And I did ask her about the handbag before throwing it away. It was a genuine knockoff, and she knew it.
