What’s happening with the economy and where are you putting your money?

Hello, I’ve seen some recent threads about saving money but I’m curious to know where people are putting their money. I’m young and I’m still in college and I know you have to save but it doesn’t seem like saving is going to help you if you can’t afford food and the economy is crashing.
