Why do people look down on 5'9" men?

I’ve seen articles on how men under 5’10” are viewed as less attractive and less desirable as romantic partners. Adding to this are people’s personal preferences, with women usually having minimum height requirements. Do people really have a problem with a grown man being 5’9”, and if so, why is that?<br><br>&#x200B;
