It’s just sugar, meat and salt. It’s all just ingredients. Meat doesn’t care if you boil it, mince it or powder it. It’s just meat.

If you want to make a cake, it’s all about the specific amount and placement of ingredients. If you need the cake to look like a dollhouse, you need to put the cake in specific amount of different places, in addition to putting the correct amount of sugar everywhere. You can’t just “put sugar there, and mince a bit of the cake” for the specific decorative detail, it’s not sugar, it’s a cake. But you can just put the correct amount of sugar in the correct places, and place the exact amount of cake in precise places.

If you just throw the ingredients in the oven, you will just get some “meat”. If you want a dish with precise sous vide meat, and specific type of potato and precise amount of salt, you need to look up a recipe and put the correct amount of potato in the correct amount of salt, and then boil the potatoes in a precise manner and then proceed to cook the meat in a very specific way.

Modern deep learned AI models is just putting the correct amount of meat, salt and sugar in a very very complex mixing bowl. You can just throw the meat in the oven if you need something like “meat”, and you won’t need the precise amount of salt and sugar, but you won’t get a dish either. But if you need a dish, you need the recipe, and the recipe need the correct amount of specific ingredients, like salt, sugar and meat.

Sure, the salt is really really good now. And the sugar is really good too. But it’s not a cake. It’s just sugar. It’s just salt.

Anyway, meat tastes really good now. I can’t wait until we figure out the recipe.
