I didn't dislike the Fruits Basket ending. It was more than just a bad ending, it was a betrayal.

My opinion is so controversial for some reason, so I guess I'll just make this post.

When I first Fruits Basket, I was taken by how cute and heartwarming it was. Fruits Basket was Fruits Basket.

When the sequel, -Prelude-, came out, I didn't really pay much attention.

But when I didn't that it was focused on the main character Tohru's parents, I was so excited. So I watched it.

And then I hated it.

I hated Yuki and Kyoka. I hated the way Kyoko seemed so different. I hated the "twist" about Tohru's dad.

I hated it so much that I wished that that hadn't been made.

It was bad enough that they made Kyoko into a psycho, but it was even worse that they made Kyo into an asshole.

I wish they could have kept that story out of the public eye.

This is a Fruits Basket that I don't want to remember, and it's so fucking frustrating that this is the last thing Takaya has given Fruits Basket.

It is a betrayal to the original series and its characters. And I fucking hate it.
